Water is essential for our bodies to work properly and hydration plays an important role in all of our bodily functions. Some water’s health benefits are flushing out waste, regulating body temperature and helping brain and muscle function. It can also help prevent headaches, aid in digestion, and relieve bloating.
Approximately two-thirds of the adult human body is made of water. Your brain is 80% water, your muscles (including your heart) are 75% water, your blood is 83% water, your lungs are 90% water, your skin is 64% water, and even your bones are 30% water! Therefore, drinking the right amount of water daily is essential for good health.
