Skin is the 8th detox organ. Skin performs many beneficial functions but it does undergo changes and damage. Causes can also be internal such as immunological abnormalities, environmental, food allergies and emotional elements such as stress. In some cases, the skin can show signs of an internal disease before the disease advances and becomes more serious.
